An introduction to playing Sevens

Take a moment to check the current turn. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

A small practice goal

Take a moment to check the current turn. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

The challenge in front of you

Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.

How to proceed

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

Input guidance

Keep the goal in view while choosing a move. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.

One way to understand the rules

After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

One detail worth checking

A careful first move helps you understand the round. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.
